Taglo — Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 2026

Taglo is a place to share your style and discover fashion. These Guidelines explain what is and isn't allowed, so Taglo stays safe, welcoming, and useful for everyone — including our younger users. They apply to everything on Taglo: photos, videos, captions, comments, tags, and profiles.

If you break these Guidelines, we may remove your content, hide it, restrict your account, or remove your account entirely. Where content threatens the safety of a child, we act in line with UK law and may report it to the relevant authorities.

All photos and videos are checked by our moderation systems before anyone else can see them. Content only becomes visible once it passes.

Keeping younger users safe

Taglo is open to users from age 13, so protecting minors is central to how we moderate.

  • We apply stricter content rules to anyone under 18. Content that might be acceptable from an adult may be blocked when posted by, or featuring, a minor.
  • We do not allow content that sexualises, endangers, or exploits anyone under 18 — ever, under any circumstances.
  • Users under 16 cannot post their own content.
  • Users under 18 cannot tag products or earn commission.
  • We do not allow adults to use Taglo to contact minors inappropriately, or any content that facilitates grooming.

What's not allowed

Nudity and sexual content

  • No nudity, sexual content, or sexually suggestive content.
  • No exposed genitalia, and no swimwear, underwear, or bare-chested content posted by or featuring anyone under 18.
  • Nothing that sexualises minors, in any form.

Harm and danger

  • No content that promotes or depicts self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders.
  • No content that encourages dangerous behaviour or could cause physical harm.

Violence and hate

  • No violent, graphic, or gory content.
  • No hate speech, harassment, bullying, or threats.
  • No content that attacks or demeans people based on who they are.

Illegal and harmful activity

  • No content that promotes illegal activity, weapons, or drugs.
  • No content that breaks the law.

Deception and misuse

  • No impersonation, scams, or misleading content.
  • No spam, or artificially inflating engagement.
  • No attempts to bypass age restrictions or moderation.

Other people's rights

  • Only post content you have the right to share.
  • Don't post other people's photos, videos, or personal information without permission.
  • Respect intellectual property — don't post content that infringes copyright or trademarks.

Tagging products honestly

  • Tag items accurately — tag what's actually shown.
  • Affiliate links help creators and keep Taglo running; we disclose them in the App. Don't hide the fact that tags may be affiliate links.
  • Don't tag misleading, counterfeit, or unrelated products.

Reporting and blocking

If you see something that breaks these Guidelines:

  • Report it — every post, video, comment, and user can be reported from within the App.
  • Block anyone you don't want to interact with.

Our moderation team reviews reports and takes action where needed. Reporting helps keep Taglo safe for everyone.

How we enforce

Depending on what happened, we may:

  • remove or hide the content;
  • warn, restrict, or suspend the account;
  • permanently remove the account;
  • where a child's safety is involved, preserve information and report to the appropriate authorities as required by law.

We aim to be fair and consistent. If you think we've made a mistake, you can appeal by contacting hello@taglo.social.
